Children always like small soft toys. Kids enjoy playing with them, take with them for walks and to kindergarten, go to bed with them. Such a wonderful soft friend can be sewn together with the child, and then he will be especially dear to him for many years.
Let's try to make, for example, a cute kitten out of bright orange fleece. This fascinating activity will not take too much time, but the child will surely remember the day when you sewed a funny soft toy together and the baby received the first soft friend.

To complete the work we need:
- fleece of white and orange flowers;
- synthetic winterizer;
- scissors;
- yellow threads;
- a needle;
- two blue buttons and one pink (you can other shades);
- green ribbon.

The order of the work:
First we need to make patterns of all the details. To do this, draw on a piece of paper patterns of the body, legs and head of the future kitten.

Next, carefully cut out all the details from paper, put them on the wrong side of the orange fleece and circle them with a felt-tip pen. Do not forget to retreat half a centimeter from the edge of the pattern - these will be allowances for the seams. We cut out two parts of the body, head and legs from the fabric. We impose one part of the legs on the part of the body and sew along the edge. In the exact same way we sew the second part of the trunk and legs.

Now you need to sew the details of the body between themselves. Seams from the neck and tummy are temporarily left unstitched.

Turn the torso detail to the front side.

Next, fill the kitten’s trunk with a synthetic winterizer through previously unstitched seams. This stage of work can be allowed to be done by the child. It will be quite within his power. In addition, he must take an active part in creating his friend.

Now the time has come to sew a seam from the side of the tummy with a secret seam.

Next, we sew the details of the head, again leaving a small, non-stitched area at the bottom.

Now you need to turn out the detail of the head on the front side and make seams that will separate the ears from the muzzle. And again the task for your baby. You need to fill your head with a synthetic winterizer. Then you carefully sew it to the body.

From the white fleece we cut an oval and sew a buttonhole to the front of the head. This will be the kitten's face.

Now the kitten's muzzle needs to be formalized so that it has a finished look. To do this, we sew on the blue eyes-buttons and a nose made of pink buttons.

A child can tie a bow from a satin ribbon to a new friend's kitten.

The work is almost done. It remains to give the kitten a nickname. For example, let's call him Ginger. This toy will appeal to both boys and girls and, most likely, will not get bored, because it is sewn with their own hands.
