This will require:
- Any glass jar with a lid (great for baby food, mustard or capers).
- Smart fabric.
- Sintepon, cotton wool or cosmetic discs.
- Cardboard.
- Needle with thread.
- Burlap and label paper.
- Various decorative ornaments (rhinestones, beads, lace, ribbons, pendants - depends on the imagination).
- Marmalade, dragees, dried fruit or any other goodies.
- Glue gun or any other glue.
- Acetone or nail polish remover.
The jar must be thoroughly washed, removing all old labels and traces of glue. If warm soapy water does not help and the glue remains on the jar, acetone will help out. Just wet the cotton pad and gently clean the glass from stains of old glue. The next step is the design of the cover. To do this, cut out a circle from cardboard equal to the diameter of the lid. From the fabric you need to cut a circle a little more cardboard.
If there are jewelry that needs to be sewn, it is better to do it now. We make the front side of the fabric to your taste. Beads or pendants come in handy. Applications from excellent texture materials, such as felt, will look great. We tidy up the fabric circle at the edges. In the middle we put cotton wool or synthetic winterizer, determining the desired amount "by eye". We cover the packing with a cardboard base, gently tighten the thread, fix with a knot. It turns out a small pillow.
The sides of the cover are decorated with lace or ribbons. It will be better if the tape does not go too far over the edge. Otherwise, there will be problems with closing the jar. We carefully monitor the amount of glue so that the lid looks neat. The junction can be closed with a decorative cute bow or large rhinestone.
Gently glue the cardboard base of the pillow to the top of the lid using hot melt adhesive or any other. Press and wait a couple of minutes for the glue to “grab”. At will, we complement the design with sparkles or rhinestones, sticking them with a gun. The jar is almost ready. It remains the case for the label. Cut a rectangle from burlap, focusing on the size of the jar. We cut out a slightly smaller rectangle from paper, sign the name of our magic pills and sew or glue it to the burlap. Glue the resulting label onto the jar.
We fill the bubble with various yummy. A pleasant, sweet and, of course, an original gift is ready.
Variations of labels can be very different - "From laziness", "For a sweet life", just nominal, etc. It all depends on the creative abilities of the creator. Such nice jars with magic pills will surely please everyone who so wants to congratulate on the holiday.
