To assemble the composition we take the materials:
- a transparent champagne glass on a short leg.
- scissors.
- glue gun.
- sheets of foamiran lemon and green.
- a toothpick.
- oil art paint of red, brown and green tones.
- medical plaster.
- 0.5 meters of orange satin ribbon.
- wet wipes.
- cardboard.
- half beads for decoration.
- lighter.
- wire.
- foil.
- corrugated paper of a green shade.
- a piece of thin foam rubber.
Before you begin, draw the shape of the templates. For flowers, it looks like 3 petals, connected at the base together, only different in diameter. 6, 7 and 8 cm. For leaves, squares of 4 x 4 and 5 x 5 cm are needed. 5 roses will be needed.
Now take a plastic lemon-colored suede and patterns. We circle with a toothpick 10 pieces of small and medium size, and large only 1 workpiece. We carefully cut out everything.
Now we cut out 7 squares of 4x4 cm from green suede. Scissors round the opposite two corners and get the leaves in the shape of a boat.
But from the green canvas you still need 5 squares with a side of 5 cm. From them we will cut the substrate for the flowers. The blanks are added in turn 2 times in half, pressed in the middle and again round the opposite corners. It turns out a part with 4 petals.
It remains to prepare the leaves for further processing. We will need a toothpick or an empty, used shaft for the handle. And with it, we draw first the main line at the leaf, and then the remaining veins on different sides of it.
Now we pass to coloring. We take art oil paints. We process all the blanks for roses in red using a piece of foam. On the petals, you need to pass the paint only along the upper edge from two sides.
And for this paint we give time for drying.
When time has passed, we proceed to change the shape of the petals. We work with each workpiece in turn. Add 3 parts of the petal together.
We hold with the fingers of the hand for the middle of the addition, we still collect the top of the workpiece in folds and knead everything well between the fingers. In this way we change the structure of the fabric, it becomes soft.
And then we return the petals to their previous size just straighten.
Now we need a lighter, because foamiran changes shape with the help of heat. We bring the fire from below to the very edge of the petals, the fabric itself makes a beautiful bend. You can tweak a little with your fingers. And then also from the bottom we warm the middle of a separate petal, and from above with two thumbs we press down the middle in the workpiece. Stretch slightly. When the suede cools down, it will be the form that was given to it.
We give a new form to all the petals.
We continue to work with green blanks. They also need to be painted, but we take the paint a tone darker than the leaves themselves. Sponge directly through the veins and get a beautiful effect.
Then with brown paint we pass only the edges of all these blanks.
When the paint has dried, we make small notches on the leaves with scissors around the edge. And when we bring them to the lighter, they straighten.
With flower substrates, we act differently. Fold 4 parts of the workpiece together, holding the middle, scroll with your fingers only the upper side of the part.
Only carefully straighten, not revealing much twisted corners.
But there is more to the leaves. It is necessary to fix the green wire on the wrong side. Cut 7 segments of 8 cm and glue well.
Now proceed to the assembly of flowers. One rose will be on the stem. We take a wire 10 cm long, we fix on it a piece of foil in the form of a droplet. And we wrap it well and glue the green corrugated paper.
We will fasten two smaller petal circles to the foil bud with a glue gun. We close the entire foil with the first, but also the second we fix tightly pressed to the bud.
Third and 4 circles of medium sized petals. And glue them only at the base. Let the rose open.
Add a green backing that immediately enlivens the flower.
And the last detail to the flower on the stem is the fixing of 2 leaves. Glue the joints with paper.
The assembly of all the other roses is the same in execution. Only in one flower will there be a fifth petal circle from a large blank. The result is 4 roses and a fifth on the stem.
Now we take a glass and wipe it well with a damp cloth. We lower the rose on the stem with the flower down into the glass. We need to fix it in this position. On the stem mark the place of the upper edge of the glass.
Then twist the remaining edge of the stem into a half-ring. We take out the rose, circle the edge of the glass on cardboard, cut out two circles, and one will be 3 mm larger than the first. We glue the rose on a larger circle, placing it in the middle with a bent stem. We cover with corrugated paper scraps and fasten two transparent large half beads. Lubricate the edge of the glass and set, turning it over, on a prepared circle with a flower.
Now the bottom of the glass will be considered the top of the candlestick. But it still needs to be fixed. We will use the orange ribbon. We glue part of it directly on the glass, and the second half is fixed on cardboard. First you need to make notches with scissors for better rounding. Glue the second cardboard circle over the tape.
It is time to assemble the main composition. We still have 4 flowers, 2 pairs of leaves connected in two together and a single leaf. The wire at the leaves is cut to 5 cm in length.
Now we will decorate the top of the candlestick. Glue the patch at the very bottom of the glass. And we attach leaves to it so that 3 leaves are directed upward to the candle site.
The first glue is a large flower.
We distribute the rest in a circle, sticking them tightly together.
In addition, we glue a bow from a satin ribbon, 1 cm wide.
It remains to put a candle on the site. You can use a small one, and the big one will look beautiful in such a composition.
Good luck to all!
