From my old tights I made a funny toy penguin, for which I needed seven days to work (I sewed by hand) and materials and tools, such as black, white and brown fabric, threads, scissors, cotton wool, needles for stabbing, paper for sample preparation, as well as black fabric on fur, a pink viscose napkin and blue rhinestones.
Toy manufacturing process:
Step 1: We make a sample of paper, which we will need to divide into its component parts. According to their shape, we will need to make parts from fabric:
Step 2: Now we sew the front part of the toy (white fabric) from the back:
Step 3: Next, we cut out a rectangular shape from the fur fabric and sew its upper side from the bottom, and then sew it over the edges, forming a magnificent decoration for the neck:
Step 4: Now we turn the torso of the toy from the wrong side and pull the resulting jewelry on her neck, after which we sew to it:
Step 5: Now we need to take doll eyes and rhinestones (for comparison only, to choose which ones are best suited as eyes), sew wings from the remnants of black fabric and a beak from a pink viscose cloth, and then fill them with cotton wool:
Step 6: Next, from cardboard we need to cut out a sample for making toy paws.
To compile each paw, I do three parts: one, a whole, for the lower part of the paw, and two "half" for the upper:
Step 7: We sew the resulting wings with a beak, and as the eyes I choose rhinestones and glue them.
We fill the toy with cotton, and we sew the parts according to the model for making paws. When they are ready, they will also need to be filled with cotton and sewn to the craft:
So the resulting toy looks behind:
It seems to me that the paws of the toy turned out to be too large and their fabric does not fit well with the general appearance of the craft. In addition, the wings are not even, and I want to fix it.
I cut out new patterns for wings and paws from paper, and in their shape I make new details from fabric:
When the details of the paws are sewn, they will need to be filled with cotton, after which the holes through which it was inserted must be sewn up:
The resulting wings and paws, I attach to the craft. It seems to me that after processing she began to look better:
Now that's it, my toy penguin will be ready:
He can decorate the room and entertain the children:
