Hello! It will be about how to make a fully mechanical converter from 12 V DC to 220 V AC. Converter power 50 W, output waveform - pure sine. In fact, the entire installation consists of an electric motor and a mini generator.

Will need

  • 775 Series Electric Motor - Ali Express.
  • Three-phase brushless mini generator - Ali Express.
  • Two pulleys and a belt - Ali Express.
  • Battery 12 V.
  • Power socket.

DIY transmitter manufacturing

We take the engine of the 775 series. It has 12 V power and consumes up to 7.5 A

Take a pulley.

We put a pulley on the engine and tighten it with the special key that comes with the kit.

We dress a pulley on a mini electric generator.

A wooden board will be used as the base of the transducer.

We place on it the engine and the generator parallel to each other.

We dress the belt and notice the distance that must be maintained between the generator and the motor so that the belt is tensioned.

We fix the engine with metal brackets. Previously, holes were made in the board for self-tapping screws.

We fix the generator and put the belt on the pulleys.

We fasten the socket. Three wires come out of the generator. We connect any two to the block, one will not be involved.

Install the battery.

We connect to the engine through the switch.

We glue the switch to the battery with hot glue.

Type of finished voltage converter.

Test

Turn on the device. The noise of the engine is heard.
Although the brushless generator delivers a total power of 50 W, this is enough to light a 40 W lamp in one phase.

With a LED lamp copes for one or two.

Charge the phone is possible without difficulty.

A big plus of this design is that the converter generates a three-phase voltage with a frequency of about 50 Hz with an absolutely pure sine. It can be useful to you somewhere.
See the video for the operation of the converter.
