Very soon New Year holidays and I want to please myself and my family with unusual and tasty gifts. Since the New Year is a time of sweets and fun, the idea came to me to make a sweet Christmas tree from caramel and tinsel. And so for this I bought a kilo of small caramel, a cordon and green tinsel in the nearest store. Of course, the choice of sweets and the color of tinsel depends on your taste, but I wanted to bring my Christmas tree closer to the real one.
Where to start? To make a sweet Christmas tree, we need to prepare a workplace, plus all the necessary materials:
- cordon
-scissors,
scotch tape or stapler.
- New Year's tinsel
- sweets, in my version I used small caramel
To begin with, a cone should be cut from the cordon and glued to it.
Then, glue the lower part of the cone with tape, and the tinsel on top.
stick caramel on the second row of the cone.
First, I pasted the tape on the tape, and then tape on the cone with sweets. If you use two-sided tape, then you can stick it on the cone first, and then hook candies on top.
It is more convenient for tinsel to cling to the cones with a stapler, this is for those who do not want to mess with scotch tape. And so row after row of tinsel, sweets, tinsel sweets.
And on the crown of our Christmas tree we’ll put 3 candies and fix it with tape or brackets on the back.
And then we continue to decorate it row by row.
So the Christmas tree is ready!
For its more stability, you can make a bottom from the cordon and stick it.
On top of the Christmas tree can be decorated with serpentine or small beads.
All the work takes about 20-30 minutes. Inexpensive and tasty, and most importantly an unusual gift for friends for the new year is ready! Treat yourself and your loved ones!
