For the manufacture of decorative elements from metal, the author decided to make a 2-in-1 jig device with his own hands.

With one such device, you can make different patterns that are useful for forged fences and gates.

First, from a metal round pipe with a diameter of 89 mm, it is necessary to cut off workpieces (rings) with a width of 20 mm.

Then these blanks must be cut in half with a grinder. On the grinding machine we remove the burrs.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts a piece of a square-shaped profile pipe. We weld two halves of one ring to it.

Using this jig you can make decorative elements from metal in a wave-like shape.

It is possible to bend "waves" both from a metal bar, and from a square. A bolt welded to the profile pipe acts as a limiter.

The “waves” of a square bar can be welded together, and you end up with a nice decorative detail. See the photo below.

To make the second part of the conductor, the author cuts two strips of sheet metal 6 mm thick.

They must be welded to the profile pipe. Between them, the author welds the sleeve. Also on the side you need to weld the thrust plate.

From the profile pipe and bolt, the master makes a handle that will be needed in the process of bending the workpieces.

Details on how to make adapt for the manufacture of decorative elements from metal, see the video.
