In this review, the author shows the manufacturing process of a homemade tool, which can be useful when sawing blanks on a circular saw.
Structurally, the device itself is very simple. As the main material, you can use wood or plywood.
First of all, we cut out the main part of the device from a piece of board of suitable length. In this detail you need to make a groove for the roller.
After this, it is necessary to cut out the rollers from the piece of the board (two pieces will be enough). This can be done with a wood crown.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, plugs of a suitable diameter cut off from a hollow metal tube must be pressed into the holes in the rollers.
In the main part it will be necessary to make a groove. The author performs this operation on a drilling machine.
Then you need to saw off the size of a wooden rail. It will be inserted into the guide groove, which is located in the circular desktop.
Next, you can begin to assemble the device. This will require bolts with nuts.
We install the device on the desktop, exposing it at the right angle, and you can cut boards or other workpieces.
