When you need to roll out a large number of small round dough cakes with a rolling pin, cooking can turn into a very tedious task.
However, in order to facilitate labor, a simple fixture can be made for this. Any man will cope with this task.
Of the basic materials for the manufacture of this homemade product, board trim, a wooden block and a furniture hinge will be required. You will also need a little epoxy to create a waterproof “film” on the surface of the wood.
The main stages of work
First of all, from a wide board (preferably at least 40 mm thick), it is necessary to cut the blanks from which the fixture will be assembled. This is the base with a cover, a lever handle and a mount for it.
If there is no wide board, you can glue the board from narrow boards or use plywood. In general, there are many options.
All workpieces must be well sanded. Then we connect the base with the lid using a furniture hinge, and fasten the mount for the lever handle.
At the last stage, we cover the wooden parts with epoxy mixed with a hardener. Spread it evenly with a brush.
