Oriental craftsmen have their secrets in the carpentry, which they use in the process of manufacturing various wood products. In this review, we will tell you how to make a very strong carpentry joint without a single nail.

For this connection you will need 3 wooden blocks of the same thickness and length. For example, 40 * 40 mm bars 20-30 cm long are suitable.

First of all, the master processes the workpiece with a planer, aligning them in two planes. Then cuts to size. Then, on a small piece of polystyrene foam, the master makes a marking template, which will be useful in the future.

The main stages of work

At the next stage of work, using the most ordinary home-made malka, the master transfers the corner from the marking template to the wooden blocks, and then makes another marking to select a groove and make a spike.

Then, using a conventional manual hacksaw for wood and chisels, the master makes one spike on each bar and cuts out a groove.

At the last stage, the master collects the connection, carefully knocking out wooden blocks so that the spikes enter the grooves. Thus, it turns out quite simple, but at the same time very strong and reliable connection without a single nail.
