From a cylinder from a strictly fire extinguisher, you can make a simple and convenient compressor with a 12 V electric motor with your own hands. With the help of such a mini compressor, you can pump a wheel, blow off debris from the floor and much more.

The first step is to pour the contents of the extinguisher bottle, then rinse with more water. Then you need to dry the internal walls with a hairdryer (not necessarily just a building one - you can use a household one).

The main stages of work

In the neck of the cylinder of a fire extinguisher, the master screws a home-made aluminum adapter, machined on a lathe. Then the pressure gauge, fittings and fittings are installed. You can buy them in the store.

At the next stage, a gun with a flexible hose is connected, and an engine with a compressor of 12 V is also installed. It must be installed on top of the fire extinguisher cylinder.

To mount the compressor, the master first uses double-sided tape, and then fixes it with wire for greater reliability. Tighten the wire with a force so that during operation the engine does not move from vibration to the side.

Then you will still need to make the legs for a mini compressor. For this, the master uses pieces from a plastic sewer pipe.
