Have you got a guard dog? Then be sure to make a spacious booth so that the four-legged friend feels comfortable at any time of the year. And so that the animal is not crowded in the new "house", the first thing is to measure it along and across the tape measure, and already on the basis of the data obtained to determine the size of the booth.

As the main material for the manufacture of a wooden booth, we will use bars of 50x50 mm and boards of 100x20 mm. Next, we mark and cut off the workpieces of the required size, from which the frame of the structure will be assembled. In order not to bother with grinding, it is better to order a planed beam. Now we proceed to the main stages of work.

Build assembly sequence

First of all, it is necessary to assemble the base of the wooden booth - for this we make a frame of bars (four longitudinal and two transverse). From above the flooring is made of sawn-off boards in size. The frame elements are fastened together by self-tapping screws, and nails can be used to fix the boards.

The surface of the bars and boards is preferably treated with an antiseptic to protect against insects and mold. At the next stage of work, you can start painting the base - for these purposes, acrylic paint for wooden surfaces is perfect. Under the boards, in the place where the booth will be, you need to insert foam sheets between the bars.

Next, the side walls of the booth are assembled from the timber. The inner lining can be made of boards or sheets of plywood. On the outside, the walls and the roof are insulated with polystyrene foam, and the waterproofing reinforced film in two layers must be fixed on top. Then it remains only to sheathe the frame from the outside with boards - and the wooden doghouse is ready.
