Of the basic materials for this homemade product you will need: a junction box for wiring, a single or double socket, a thyristor regulator, which can be bought at Aliexpress, as well as a piece of wire with a plug. The main stages of work
In the cover of the junction box, we drill a hole for the metal frame of the socket - for this purpose, you can choose a drill bit suitable sizes. In the side wall, you need to drill a hole for the power cord. Additionally, you will need to drill a hole for the resistor shaft of the voltage regulator block. Then we connect all the elements of the device together.
It is very simple to work with such an outlet: we connect a light bulb or an electric tool to it, after which we regulate the voltage supply using a resistor relay.
