Glass jars with threaded screw caps are not always suitable for rolling pickles and pickles at home. And it’s a pity to take them to glass collection points for pennies. Therefore, these containers can be used to make interesting homemade products. In total, four medium-sized cans with a wide neck will be required (so that the arm passes freely).

Also, for the manufacture of home-made lamps for a summer residence, the following materials will be required: four lampholders with bulbs, copper or aluminum two-wire wire, electrical tape and a switch. Instead of electrical tape, you can use a heat shrink tube. All these "components" can be found in the pantry or inexpensively bought in a hardware store.

We make fixtures: the main stages of work

First of all, it is necessary to drill holes in the center of the bottom of each can. To do this, we will use a drill for a ceramic drill with a diameter of 8 mm. So that the glass container does not crack during the drilling process, you need to place it in a bucket of water. We drill carefully, trying not to over-press - the material is still fragile.

Then we screw the lamps into the cartridges, connect the wire to them and pass its free end through the through hole in the bank. Next, install the lights on the veranda or hang on the ceiling and connect to the switch. Instead of conventional incandescent lamps, you can use Edison lamps - in this case, the lamps will turn out even more unusual.
