Wooden stool - a convenient and practical piece of furniture, which is compact in size and is a welcome "guest" in the country or in the house. And an elegant chair without a back with curved (or curly) legs is also an original element of the decor of the room.

The simplicity of the design allows the stool with three legs to fit organically into any interior and in general to be “your own in the board” in absolutely any environment. In order not to spend money on the purchase of the finished product (such products cost decently), you can try to make a stool with curved legs yourself.

The process of making a stool for the home

First of all, we make the legs for the stool. To do this, dissolve a wooden block of suitable sizes on the slats. Then, from a sheet of plywood, we make a template for the manufacture of curly legs. To give the preforms the desired shape, pre-steam them in a makeshift chamber, which is made of a plastic pipe.

After that, we apply softened strips to the template and clamp it with clamps. After drying, glue the workpieces. Grind the resulting legs, cut to size and process with a manual milling cutter. Then we glue all three curly legs together. Then we make a seat of plywood and mount for it.

Ready stool with curved legs can be covered with 1-2 layers of transparent varnish. If desired, you can first soak the surface of the wood with mineral oil or stain, and only then cover with a clear varnish. The main stages of work on the manufacture of a stool on three bent legs, see the video.
