If you often use an electric drill, a puncher and a grinder, then, for sure, you have often come across a situation when you need to constantly use different keys to change a drill or a disk. On the one hand, there is nothing unusual here, you get used to it over time. But on the other - in some situations this is not always convenient. Agree, it is much easier when all the tool keys are in one place and always at hand. Yes, and work is faster. Such a multifunctional universal tool can be done with your own hands.

We connect three keys into one

As a basis, you will need a large one- or two-sided open end wrench with a 30 mm open end. In the center of the throat, you need to use a grinder to make a small cut-out for the key for the chuck of an electric drill or perforator, and then fix it by gas or electric arc welding. The tail should be cut so as not to interfere.
On the reverse side of the open end wrench, two through holes must be drilled, having previously marked their location, applying a quick-tightening nut from the grinder. After that, two bolts of a suitable diameter must be "planted" into these holes for cold welding. Threaded studs can be set at your own discretion.

As a result, you will get a convenient, 3-in-1 multifunctional tool - it's an open-end wrench, a key for an electric drill chuck and a key for a grinder. Such homemade work is useful not only in the workshop, but also at home or, for example, at a construction site. The detailed manufacturing process of such a tool can be seen in the video on our website.
