The semi-automatic device for cleaning and slicing apples is a movable screwdriver, a rotating knife and a slicer. The fruit is planted on a carpenter's feather, which is rotated. When the apple reaches the movable knife, the peel is removed from it. The peeled fruit is pushed through a regular cutter, mounted at the end of an impromptu line.
The author of the project claims that the whole process of cleaning and cutting takes only 37 seconds, compared to 2 minutes if you do it by hand.
