To weave a basket will require:
• cardboard;
• scissors;
• tubes of magazine paper - 46 pieces;
• double sided tape;
• PVA glue;
• clothes pegs.
Two squares with sides of 20 cm are cut out of cardboard, double-sided tape is glued to one of them, and tubes in an amount of 20 pieces are evenly distributed. Another layer of adhesive tape is superimposed on top, then the whole structure is covered with a second square and pressed down.

Protruding tubes - racks are bent at right angles to the bottom, and weaving begins with an additional working vine. As necessary, an extension of the working lashes is carried out. After passing two rows of simple binding, 4 more tubes are added to the working threads.

Each pair of such lashes is embraced by the base posts alternately. So weaving "rope". This pattern is performed on this product twice, the distance between the "ropes" is made in six rows of simple binding.

Having finished the last turn of the pattern, the working threads break off and adhere to the main canvas of the walls. Closes the work by twisting the racks for each other in the opposite direction.

Now the top of the resulting model is covered with a thick layer of PVA glue and left for long drying. The final manufacturing operation is to cut off all the extra ends of the racks.

Finished basket can be painted with any impregnation or varnish for wood. Our work is covered with two colors of varnish: walnut and rosewood.
