People who do not like to drink tea are quite rare. Surely everyone knows that teapots are made from clay. Therefore, they do not need to be heated on an open fire, as they are intended for brewing tea. I propose to make a beautiful cover for a teapot with your own hands in the technique of knitting. With this case, you can simply paint your kettle, or hide some flaws. After all, it so happens that in the most visible place some kind of nuisance has formed, or over time the pattern has become pale and nondescript, and the kettle itself triples you completely. A case for a teapot can also be made as a gift to a loved one.
The following materials will be required:
  • The yarn is blue.
  • The yarn is beige.
  • The yarn is red.
  • The yarn is green.
  • Hook.
  • Knitting needles.
  • Needle.
  • Button.

We take beige yarn and knit 36 loops on knitting needles. We knit 6 next to the front viscous. Then we switch to beige yarn and we knit 3 seams already on the wrong side, then again we switch to beige yarn.

We knit alternating strips of different yarn until 5 strips of beige yarn are obtained. Depending on the size of the kettle, the strips can be either smaller or larger. Size must be determined by your kettle. Now you need to leave a hole for the spout of the kettle. To do this, we knit 12 loops, and close the next 19 loops. We knit the remaining 6 stitches.

In the next row, it is necessary to restore the missing loops, that is, we knit 6 loops and we knit 19 loops on the knitting needle and again we knit 12 loops. Thus, 36 loops returned to the knitting needle again.

We knit with the beige yarn the same strip as before the formed hole. We knit the second half, as well as the first, alternating strips of beige and blue yarn.

Close the loop. Dress the blank on the kettle.

We thread a thread of any color into a needle and begin to sew from the lid. We collect the top of the product on the thread and tighten it to the size of the handle from the cover.

Sew the handles at the top and sew a button at the bottom and make a buttonhole on the other side. Buttoning.

Now we will make a rose and leaves for her, we will crochet. We crochet a chain of 8 loops and round it into a ring.

Then we knit the chain again and fix it so that a rose petal is formed. Thus, we knit until you get a thick rosette.

From green yarn with a hook, knit 3 leaves.

Sew the leaves to the rose. And we sew the rose to the cover for the teapot. The teapot cover is ready!
