In this review, the author shows the manufacturing process of a compact stand for a hydraulic jack. It may come in handy on the farm.
In addition to the bottle jack, profile pipes of different sizes are required (so that one fits tightly into the other), as well as metal blanks and a chain segment.
The first step is to cut out the square base from sheet metal and cut off two pieces of the profile. Drill holes in the pipes.
The main stages of work
The author welds a piece of a profile pipe of a smaller cross section to the base at a right angle, in which four holes must first be drilled with the same pitch.
Then we put on the welded rack a section of a profile pipe of a larger cross section (with one drilled hole). To its lower part you need to weld a piece of the plate.
To the upper part of the profile pipe, the author welds another piece of metal by installing a car jack.
On the sides of the welded top plate, welders from metal scraps must be welded. After that, the master welds a piece of chain along with the locking finger.
At the last stage, it remains only to clean all the details and paint (if desired).
