Traditionally, homemade seals for the winter are made in glass jars - the packaging is reliable, durable and environmentally friendly.

That's only when transporting seals from the kitchen to the cellar, you can accidentally touch the corner of the house or drop the container, and the bank will inevitably break.

Agree, this is not pleasant enough? Moreover, the fragments will then need to be carefully collected.

In this review, the author shows how to make a protective case for a glass jar. This is completely uncomplicated.

For a three-liter can, you will need a 5-liter eggplant, while for a half-liter can, a 1.5-liter plastic bottle is suitable.

The main stages of work

Consider the process of manufacturing a protective plastic case on the example of a three-liter jar.

We take an eggplant with a volume of 5 liters and cut off its upper part with a neck. Then insert into the jar.

After that, you will need a building hair dryer. We begin to heat the plastic “shell” until it completely fits the glass jar.

Particular attention should be paid to the bottom, since the plastic is thicker there. If you do not want to mess with the bottom, just cut it out, leaving a small side.

A protective case is really a convenient thing. Firstly, even if the jar accidentally breaks, then all the fragments with the contents will remain inside.
