In this review, the author shares a cool idea - how to make a do-it-yourself simple home-made clamp for a standard F-shaped clamp.

This clamp allows you to fix the wood blanks and joinery during gluing in a perpendicular plane.

Of the basic materials for the manufacture of the fixture, a piece of the profile pipe, a wooden block and a segment of the stud with a wing bolt will be required.

The main stages of work

First of all, it will be necessary to drill a through hole in a piece of the profile pipe.

After that, the author cuts a groove in the workpiece - the width of the clamp guide rail. The edges must be filed to remove burrs.

At the next stage, the master clogs a wooden block into the profile pipe. In it, it will also be necessary to drill a hole and cut a groove.

The author also drills a hole in the end of a wooden block. A wing bolt will be inserted into it.

At the last stage, it remains only to make a wooden handle and a clamping heel, which is attached to the end of the stud. After that, you can begin to assemble this device.
