In this review, the author shares a sensible idea - how to make a convenient tripod for the laser level with your own hands literally from scrap metal.

This homemade product is more useful when working with floors. For example, in the process of laying sewer pipes or when placing beacons under a concrete screed.

The first step is to make the legs for the tripod. To do this, the author cuts three pieces of a square bar. Then they need to be welded together.

Previously, each bar needs to be slightly bent. In this case, the author does it by hand.

The main stages of work

The next step is to cut a piece of pipe of the desired length. The author welds it to his feet. Welds will then need to be cleaned with a grinder.

After that, the master cuts another piece of pipe, but of a larger diameter. The workpiece will be worn on a tripod stand.

From sheet metal, the author cuts a piece of strip (you can use the finished strip), and then drills three holes in it. Then it welds the strip to the round pipe.

At the last stage, it remains only to make a bracket for the laser level. It is attached to the strip using neodymium magnets.
