In this review, the author shares a cool idea - how to make an original side table with "crooked" legs with your own hands. The legs are actually flat, just angled.

Due to its small size, such a side table is very similar to a stool, however, it is undesirable to sit on it, although it certainly can withstand a certain weight. It is better to use a table for its intended purpose.

First of all, from two pieces of oak plank (you can use other types of wood), the master glues the countertop. Clamp with clamps and leave until the glue completely dries.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author is engaged in the manufacture of legs - for this, he cuts four bars from the board. A couple more bars will need to be dissolved into lamellas. The author glues them to the legs on four sides. Then the bars must be sawed at an angle.

After this, you need to connect the legs to the countertop, for this, special cuts must be made at the corners of the countertop.

The table legs are glued by the author to carpentry polyurethane glue and are additionally screwed with a self-tapping screw.

For greater reliability, the author attaches the legs to dowels, but not wooden, but metal - in this case, the master uses aluminum pins.

The final touch is polishing the surface and impregnating with mineral oil (you can simply coat the wood with varnish).
