Sometimes for some homemade products, wing screws are required, and there is nowhere to buy them. What to do? The answer is obvious - you need to make the wing screws with your own hands.

For this, the author uses plywood trim and bolts. The first step is to find a piece of plywood with a thickness of at least 20 mm.

First, draw a circle with the required diameter. Then, with a 16 mm diameter drill, you need to drill six through holes at an equal distance from each other. In the center, the author drills a hole with a 12 mm diameter pen drill.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, with the help of a circular saw with a diameter of 51 mm, the author cuts the lamb. It will need to be sanded on the grinder or manually - with sandpaper.

Further, the author inserts and presses the cap of the long bolt into the central hole in the lamb.

After that, it remains only to glue a round part cut from the same plywood to the inner side of the lamb.

Finished products are impregnated with stain. In detail about how to make wing screws with your own hands from scraps of plywood, we recommend that you look in the video on the site.
