Even the most simple wooden table can become a nice element of decor. The table can be placed both indoors and outdoors - for example, on the veranda or in the gazebo. Or maybe even on an open loggia, if the place allows.
The wooden table captivates with its simplicity, it shows both the rustic style and the forms of modern Art Nouveau. And most importantly - to make such a table with your own hands is not at all difficult.
For the manufacture of a wooden table, the following materials will be required:
- wooden blocks 40x40 mm, length 50 cm - 6 pieces;
- wooden blocks 40x20 mm, length 50 cm - 2 pieces;
- wooden planks 40x20 mm, length 100 cm - 2 pieces;
- wooden blocks 40x40 mm, length 100 cm - 2 pieces;
- wooden shield 100x50 cm, 20 mm thick - 1 piece.
Also, from wooden blocks or boards, it will be necessary to saw small blanks in the form of triangles 2 cm and 4 cm thick.
The main stages of work
First of all, the author is engaged in the manufacture of countertops. To do this, he cuts the wooden boards of the right size and glues them into a shield. You can also buy a ready-made shield or a finished countertop in the store.
At the next stage of the work, the author makes cuts from wooden blocks and triangular blanks for fastening the legs of the table. We connect them with the legs.
You will also need to make the drawers that are attached to the top of the legs. After that, the master starts assembling the table.
