If you need to bend small sheet metal blanks at a 90-degree angle in a garage or home workshop, you can use a simple mini bending machine for this.
You can make such a device with your own hands from available materials. To work, you will need a welding machine, a grinder and an electric drill (or a drilling machine).
So, to make a mini bending machine, you will first need to prepare three metal plates, two steel bars of circular cross section, and you will also need bolts with nuts.
The main stages of work
In two steel plates with the help of a grinder, the author makes rectangular cuts along the edges, and then welds a bolt with two nuts.
Moreover, in one of the nuts it will be necessary to drill a hole so that it rotates freely on the bolt. Two segments of a round bar must be welded to one of the plates.
In the third plate, you need to make a selection along the entire length. Then the workpiece will need to be tacked by welding to one of the plates so that holes can be drilled at the edges. Drops of welding must then be cut off.
At the last stage, it remains only to polish the workpieces and paint them. After that, you can start assembling. To do this, you will need two more springs and two wing nuts.
