Need a hearth for a cauldron? It can be made from an old propane tank with your own hands. It will turn out cheaply and cheerfully, and also also conveniently. Observe safety precautions when cutting a cylinder!

First of all, the master marks the location of the cut and cuts off the upper part of the gas cylinder. We remind you again that you need to be careful - before cutting the cylinder with a grinder, fill it with water.

Further, the author makes a marking at the bottom of the container and cuts a rectangular hole under the door. It is advisable to file the edges with a metal file to remove burrs.

The main stages of work

Now it will be necessary to make a grate. In this case, the author uses a sheet of metal with a thickness of 4 mm, from which it is necessary to cut a circle slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the cylinder. Using welding, the author makes holes in it (but you can also drill with a drill).

The resulting grate is welded to the bottom of the container from the inside. After that, the author makes three legs and welds them to the bottom of the future focus. It is also necessary to weld a stop for the door out of the strip.

The door itself is fastened with a simple makeshift canopy. Four cutouts must be made at the top of the container. And in the bottom - you need to drill holes for air supply.
