Planting seeds over large areas is not an easy job. It takes a lot of effort and time to cope with the task. However, it is possible not only to facilitate, but also to accelerate this process.
To do this, the author suggests making a do-it-yourself hand-made gun for planting seeds into the soil with your own hands. This device can be made from improvised inexpensive materials.
First of all, sheet metal must be cut into trapezoidal shapes. Of these, a seed hopper will need to be welded. A piece of profile is welded to the bottom of the hopper.
Welds must be cleaned with a grinder. Then, approximately in the middle of the section of the profile pipe, you need to weld a regular hex nut.
The main stages of work
Next, the master proceeds to manufacture the movable part of the "beak" of the gun. To do this, you first need to cut a piece of the profile pipe, cutting off one edge at an acute angle. Then an elongated nut is welded to the profile.
After that, you need to cut a piece of metal strip, set it correctly, and then weld two washers on the sides. A spring is attached to the end of the strip (you can buy it at an auto parts store).
At the next stage, from the scraps of the metal strip and a piece of the profile pipe, it will be necessary to make a depth limiter.
After that, it remains only to make a wooden handle and assemble the lever system. The master uses a cable from a bicycle hand brake.
