The farm will always find the use of homemade wire clamps: for example, when it is necessary to firmly connect the segments of the fittings or fix the watering hose to the pipe.

To reliably tighten the clamps from the wire, you will need a special device - the so-called clamp. You can make it from improvised materials.

So, to make a collar of simple design, you will need a piece of a metal tube about 15-20 cm long, a stud, a wing nut, and also a long bolt.

The process of manufacturing a simple homemade clamp

The first step is to cut off a piece of the tube of the desired length, then flatten the edge, and cut the sides at an angle to make a cone. Then you need to brew the slice.

At the next stage, the master slightly grinds the edge of the stud, and then drills a hole for a smaller diameter bolt. He performs this operation on a drilling machine, but, in principle, can be drilled with an ordinary electric drill.

Further, in a metal tube (collar housing), it is necessary to make a longitudinal groove so that the position of the stud can be adjusted. First, the master drills holes on the edges of the marked area, and then makes a slot with a grinder.

At the last stage, it remains only to clean the parts with a grinding wheel, and you can begin to assemble the home-made device.

Details on how to make a simple clamp for tightening clamps from wire can be found in the video on the website.
