In this review, the author decided to make a do-it-yourself scissor lift table with an electric linear drive. As the main material for the manufacture of a metal frame, he uses a profile pipe.
The top of the scissor lift table is made of ceramic tile. The peculiarity of this table is that it is completely mobile - it can be moved to any place without any problems, thanks to the presence of swivel wheels.
The first step is to cut the workpieces from the profile pipe. Then the master welds two rectangular frames from them: one with two sections, the other with three. These will be the top and bottom of the scissor table.
The main stages of work
For the manufacture of the scissor mechanism itself, sections of profile and round pipes that are connected to each other will be required. Next, the scissor mechanism must be attached to the lower and upper parts of the lifting table.
To make the table rise and fall smoothly and without jerking, the master installs bearings on the edges of the scissor mechanism (on one side).
At the next stage, all structural elements are welded together. Then the master mounts two linear electric drives, and also sets limiters for the bearings so that they do not slip off by accident.
