Empty plastic bottles are an excellent “raw material” for various DIY crafts. In addition to cups, mugs, jewelry for flower beds, from plastic bottles you can make an “endless” rope, which is useful in a summer cottage and in a private house.

To get the required amount of rope from plastic bottles, you don’t have to solder anything or glue it - everything is done very quickly and simply. There are two main ways how to tie a long plastic rope "on the cold."

Method one

From the empty plastic bottle we cut off the neck and bottom, and then with the help of scissors we dissolve the rest into rings. Then we take two ready rings and simply “fill” them into one another. The result is a knot that is slightly heated with an ordinary lighter, so that it narrows and "grows stronger."

Then we fix the next ring in the same way, and so on. In this way, it will be possible to tie as 3 meters of plastic rope, and all 100 meters. You can use it for various household needs.

Second way

Cut the empty plastic bottle into rings. Then we take one ringlet, bend in half, and insert the second into the resulting “ears”. The junction of two rings for greater strength is slightly fused with a lighter or an ordinary household hairdryer.

We continue to increase the rope to the desired length, and then it can be twisted and fixed with a hairdryer or lighter. For more information on how to tie a plastic rope, see the video on the site.
