If you need to compact the soil (for example, in front of the device, blind areas or for another purpose), then this is conveniently done using a special nozzle for a punch. To make such a homemade device for soil compaction can be made from available materials, which are almost always at hand.
How to make a nozzle for soil compaction
First of all, we cut out a rectangular plate with dimensions of 15x30 cm from a suitable sheet steel. We mark the center of the workpiece with a marker or a special marking tool. Then cut a small piece of pipe with a length of about 9-10 cm and drill a hole in the central part.
To connect a homemade nozzle with a hammer drill, you will need a standard factory chisel with a shank. It also needs to drill a through hole (in the lower part), and then insert it into the pipe section and fix it with a bolt and nut. If desired, the very “sole” of the homemade nozzle can be made square in shape and large.
We insert the resulting nozzle for soil compaction into the perforator cartridge, after which you can begin to work. We turn on the puncher and begin to compact the soil.
