If ordinary fans do not save from the summer heat, and there is not enough money to buy an air conditioner, then this problem can be solved using a home-made device that can be made from available improvised materials with your own hands.

Materials and stages of work

As a case for a mini-air conditioner, you can use an ordinary plastic bucket with a lid of 7-10 liters. In the upper part of the bucket, it is necessary to cut a rectangular window, onto which then it will be necessary to glue a grid of strips of dense foam or other material, which will be at hand.
Then, in the center of the bucket lid, you need to cut a round hole for the fan from the PC power supply - it needs to be "put" on the hot-melt adhesive from the bottom of the lid, and it is desirable to fix the steel grate from above (it can also be removed from the computer's power supply).

Using a soldering iron or a drill, you need to make a small round hole in the bucket under the plug for the power adapter, through which the fan will be connected. For greater reliability, it is desirable to fix the plug itself with hot-melt adhesive on both sides of the hole.

How the device works

When the mini-air conditioner is fully assembled, you can proceed directly to its operation. To begin with, we pour ice into the bucket (about half), then turn on the fan and after a few minutes, through the openings in the grate, the cooled air will enter the room.

Such a compact mini-air conditioner is useful in the country, in a country house, and even in an apartment, and you can make this device yourself in literally half an hour.
