In this review, the author shows the process of making simple home-made clamps for a home workshop or garage.

They are useful when assembling and gluing furniture panels, cutting boards and other large wood blanks.

Clamps require round steel pipes and home-made wing nuts.

You can also use profile pipes of square or rectangular section instead of round.

The main stages of work

To make one clamp, two pieces of pipe are required. Cut the desired number of workpieces of the required length and drill holes in them along the edges.

We insert long bolts into the drilled holes, and connect the two pipes together. Between the pipes, bolts must be put on the bolts.

Next, you need to drill holes along the entire length of the pipes with the same pitch.

At the next stage, the author makes wing nuts from plywood. However, it is not necessary that they be exactly homemade - you can use purchased ones.

Now the clamps are completely ready, and you can use them for their intended purpose. In any workshop, they certainly will not be superfluous.
