It is not always advisable to use a nail puller when dismantling a wooden plank floor, since boards are sometimes rotten and rotten, and you can’t grab onto the edge. It also makes no sense to use a nail clipper when removing new boards that will be reused for flooring installation.
In such "delicate" situations, you can use a simple home-made device for dismantling the plank floor from the professional pipe. For this, the profile pipe 40x20 mm itself, a strip of metal with a width of at least 40 mm, a piece of studs and bearings will be required.
The main stages of work
In a section of a profile pipe 40x20 mm, we use a grinder to cut a triangular wedge. After that, bend the workpiece at a right angle and weld the seam.
The place of welding must be cleaned with a flap wheel for an angle grinder. At the next stage of work, we mark and drill two through holes in the profile pipe.
We cut out two triangles from a suitable width of the metal plate, after making a through hole in the marked area. We fasten them to the profile pipe.
After that, we insert a hairpin into the remaining hole in the profile, and put on it four bearings on each side. The bearings are pressed with nuts. Now the device for dismantling the wooden floor from the professional pipe is completely ready for use.
