Many devices have been invented to facilitate the holding of a power tool in hands. There are complex designs, there are simpler ones. So we will make one such quite simple for a small grinder - a mount from a pillow from a car engine.
To make this design, you need to take: a "pillow" from the engine of the car, two large corners and one small, large clamp, thick spring, different bolts, washers, nuts, a section of a profile pipe 20 * 20 mm.
First of all, let's drill holes in the profile pipe 20 * 20 mm. Then with the help of angle grinders in two walls of the profile it is necessary to make a longitudinal slot. Then you need to connect a pair of bolts, washers and nuts "pillow" and the profile pipe.
The main stages of work
We attach the resulting part to the base, which can be used as a sheet of plywood (or board), at the corners with screws. We drill holes in the "pillow" for attaching the spring. We bend it under the "pillow" and attach it to a small corner, and it - with screws to plywood.
Now the homemade product is ready, try to test it. We insert a small grinder into the clamp, which was previously threaded through a drilled hole in the profile. Then we fasten it with a bolt with a profile tube. For this, a through hole is prepared at the top. Tighten the clamp and begin to work.
