Despite the fact that Chinese grinding machines are not of high quality and often require refinement, they are still in demand. The decisive argument in favor of choosing the "Chinese" is its lower cost compared to branded products.
To make it more convenient and comfortable to work on a budget grinding machine, it is advisable to modernize it a bit - to make some improvements to the factory design. In particular, it will be necessary to replace a regular hand-made, made "from a tin can" (does not have good rigidity).
The main stages of work
It is best that an alternative home-made hand was fixed directly to the machine body. There was an option to install it on a protective casing for a circle, but it does not have sufficient rigidity, as a result of which the handyman will “walk”. Therefore, we will mount it to the lower part of the body - to the bed.
To do this, it is necessary to make an arm from a steel corner 35x35 mm and a piece of plate for attaching the handcuff itself. In the frame and homemade bracket we drill two small holes for bolts with nuts.
Then we fasten the bracket to the frame of the sharpening machine, and the handcuff of the plate pieces is attached to it. The working platform of the hand is mobile, which allows you to set the necessary angle for processing the workpiece or part.
