Using available materials, you can make a powerful portable blender with your own hands, which is useful not only at home - thanks to the power from a small battery, you can take the device with you outdoors (for a picnic, fishing or just to relax outside the city).
For this homemade product you will need:
- two plastic containers with a volume of 500 and 1000 ml;
- electric motor 775 to 12V (12000 rpm);
- battery used in children's electric vehicles;
- flange connection with a diameter of 5 mm;
- on / off button on 6A and 250 V.
The main stages of work
In the bottom of a 500 ml plastic container, we drill a hole in the center under the motor shaft. And on the side you need to drill or cut a rectangular "window" under the toggle switch. The motor is fastened with two bolts, while the on / off button can be rigidly fixed by “sitting” on hot melt adhesive.
Next, in the bottom of the 1000 ml container, we also drill a hole in the center, and we glue the square-shaped rubber gasket from the outside, after making a hole in it under the motor shaft. Apply a layer of hot melt adhesive for waterproofing. Then we join two containers with each other using two screws with nuts.
From a piece of tin (or galvanized plate) with a thickness of 2-3 mm, we make a four-blade cutting knife that is attached to the motor shaft using a flange connection. Then we connect the contacts of the toggle switch with an electric motor and output two wires for connecting to the battery.
