To simplify the tightening of the tape clamps that are used on CV joints anthers, you can use a special home-made tool. For crafts, you need a piece of metal strip, preferably a thick one, a pair of nuts and a bolt.

A base is made from a strip, to which two nuts with a threaded thread are fastened by welding. A bolt with a longitudinal slot is placed in the nuts, the thread on it is also sharpened. For the convenience of tightening the clamp, you can weld a rounded plate to the hexagon.

To tighten the tape clamp, you need to substitute the tool to the lock and insert the tape into the slot of the pin and wind it. After tensioning, the clamp is fixed by turning the entire tool, the pin is removed and the excess part of the tape is cut off.
