In this review, the author shows how you can make a stationary furnace from a gas cylinder and various metal scraps with your own hands.
This home-made stove can be installed in the country or in the garage, and used both for heating a small room, and for cooking.
First of all, you need to cut off all the excess from the cylinder: the neck in the upper part and the round stand at the bottom. Then it will be necessary to unscrew the valve and fill the tank with water. This is a required procedure!
Next, the author makes a markup and cuts off a part of the side wall of the balloon with a plasma cutter. This can also be done with an ordinary grinder.
The main stages of work
The author cuts a piece from a sheet of metal, which then will need to be welded to the cylinder. At the next stage, the author makes the second part of the structure from steel profile and round pipes.
Next, in the gas cylinder, after the hob has already been welded from a sheet of metal, you need to cut out the window, and then weld a piece of pipe (chimney).
After that, two parts of the structure must be cleaned with a grinder and connected together. Under the cylinder, it will be necessary to weld the support post from the profile pipe.
